Satya Narayan Puja

Satya Narayan Puja is one of the most popular and auspicious Vedic rituals dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Satya Narayan, the sustainer of the universe and the symbol of truth (Satya), dharma, and divine order. This puja is commonly performed on full moon days (Purnima), as well as during special occasions such as marriage, housewarming, childbirth, new beginnings, or after the fulfillment of a wish.

The ritual includes Sankalp, Ganesh Puja, Navagraha Shanti, Kalash Sthapana, worship of Lord Satya Narayan, and the recitation of the Satya Narayan Katha, which highlights the importance of faith, devotion, truthfulness, and gratitude toward the divine. The puja concludes with Aarti and distribution of Prasad.
