Starting work for house construction on Vastu land or laying its foundation for house construction is called Griharambha. The one who provides Dharma, Artha and Kama, removes cold, rain and atrocity and provides convenience and security, is the abode of happiness. The construction of a house as the foundation of such happiness is an important task. Therefore, it should be started in an auspicious time. Generally, in the beginning of the house, only the period of Bhadra, Guru-Shukraast, Adhikmas, Kshyamas, Tithi Vridhi, Tithiakshay, Eclipse period, Sankranti, the forbidden period of Vishkumbhadi Yogas, cruel Guhayuti, cruel Grihavedhadi is taken only during the period.

To start the work of house-building, it has been said in the Vastu texts that starting house work in Chaitra month leads to mourning, wealth in Vaishakh, fear of death in the eldest, animal husbandry in Ashadh, animal growth in Shravan. , emptiness in Bhadrapada, strife in Ashwin month, death and destruction in Kartik month, food gain in Margashirsha and Paush, fear of fire in Magha and building a house in Falgun month, Lakshmi is attained. The months of building a house – Vaishakh month, Shravan, Margashirsh and Falgun month are the best months for starting a house. Griha should not be started from Matantar in Kartik and Magha month.

Auspicious Paksha:- It is best to build a house till the fifth day of Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha except Shradh Paksha and Trayodashdin Paksha.

Auspicious dates:- 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 are auspicious in housewarming. That is, except Pratipada, Rikta, Amavasya and Ashtami, all other dates are considered auspicious.

Auspicious days:- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are considered good for home beginnings. Sundays and Tuesdays should be discarded.

Auspicious constellation
